Board Policy 3517 - Security of Buildings and Grounds

Purpose

Board of Education of Prince George’s County, its students and employees while on school property, and for the protection of physical property including buses, buildings and their contents.

In order to provide this protection, the Director of Security Services is authorized to develop the necessary security systems and to organize the personnel approved for this department so that the Department of Security Services can perform the protective services required.
