The Board of Education of Prince George’s County has specific authority to deliberate personnel appointments during Executive Sessions. The Superintendent shall send one copy of each announcement of a job opening for all advertised positions. If the position to be filled is for a Unit II position or grade 30 and above, deliberations are to be held in Executive Session. If the position to be filled is for Director or higher, not only are deliberations to be held in Executive Session, but the proposed applicant may be requested to be available during such deliberations, should at least three members of the Board wish to meet such person.
