REQUIRED MATERIALS (EVERY Student Should Have for EVERY Class, EVERY Day):
- Clear Book bag or Backpack
- PGCPS CHROMEBOOK AND CHARGER (provided by PGCPS - must bring both daily Earbuds/Headphones (not supplied by PGCPS)
OTHER SUPPLIES AND ITEMS:
- Folder(s) or 3 ring binder to store
- 2-3 lined marble composition books
- Blue or Black Erasable BallPoint Pens
- #2 Pencils Used Every day – Mandatory in Math
- Graphing Notebook- Mandatory in Math
- 12 inch ruler – with Standard and Metric sides
- Set of 10-12 colored pencils
Many of these items are enough supplies to last the whole year.
RECOMMENDED HOMEWORK KIT:
- Construction paper/art paper/poster board
- Glue sticks or bottle glue/ transparent tape
- Pencil compass and protractor
- Scissors
- Set of markers
- Dictionary/ Thesaurus
- Calculator with square root function for 6th and 7th grades (basic scientific calculator for 8th grade)
Items in the homework kits should remain at home for use by students in completing projects and in completing nightly homework.
At some times throughout the year, teachers may request special materials needed to complete projects and assignments. Also, various courses and teachers may require course specific materials that will be discussed and listed in the course syllabus or parent letter during the first week of that course. Please be aware of the need to replenish many of these items throughout the school year. Students are expected to have appropriate items for the duration of the year.
