Teachers, there is a wealth of new science about the solar system thanks to the data still being uploaded from the New Horizons spacecraft from its historic flyby of Pluto on 14 July 2015! Come learn how to use the current data from this mission along with other available planetary science resources to create meaningful experiences for your students in the classroom.

This opportunity has been created exclusively for Prince George’s Public Schools to:
• Access the latest mission data on the New Horizons mission;
• Infuse Pluto science data into authentic classroom experiences; and
• Make curricular connections that tie back to Literacy, NGSS & CCSS.
