PRIDE IN PGCPS: CELEBRATING OUR UNIQUE IDENTITIES

2nd Annual PGCPS Virtual PRIDE Conference
Saturday, May 31, 2025 | 9–11 a.m. | Virtual Event

Join us for our second annual PRIDE Conference — a virtual event supporting and celebrating LGBTQIA+ students, families, and allies. This year’s theme, “Pride in PGCPS: Celebrating Our Unique Identities” — inspired by the global World Pride message, “Freedom to Celebrate” — calls us to honor identity, promote inclusion, and build community.

Why Attend

The PRIDE Conference is designed as a space for connection, reflection, and advocacy. With tailored sessions for students, parents, educators, and allies, the program empowers participants to:

  • Build awareness of LGBTQIA+ resources and protections

  • Understand student rights, advocacy, and legal supports

  • Access mental health and coming out support for youth and families

  • Learn how to foster welcoming and affirming school environments

  • Celebrate the diversity of lived experiences in our school community

Student sessions will take place in a secure Zoom room. A separate track will run concurrently for parents, caregivers, educators, and community members.
