Join us for our second annual PRIDE Conference — a virtual event supporting and celebrating LGBTQIA+ students, families, and allies. This year’s theme, “Pride in PGCPS: Celebrating Our Unique Identities” — inspired by the global World Pride message, “Freedom to Celebrate” — calls us to honor identity, promote inclusion, and build community.
The PRIDE Conference is designed as a space for connection, reflection, and advocacy. With tailored sessions for students, parents, educators, and allies, the program empowers participants to:
Build awareness of LGBTQIA+ resources and protections
Understand student rights, advocacy, and legal supports
Access mental health and coming out support for youth and families
Learn how to foster welcoming and affirming school environments
Celebrate the diversity of lived experiences in our school community
Student sessions will take place in a secure Zoom room. A separate track will run concurrently for parents, caregivers, educators, and community members.
