Winter Weather Make-Up Day Plan

So far this school year, PGCPS has closed schools for four days due to inclement weather. Below is the plan for making up these instructional days:

MAKE-UP DAY 1: February 14 – This day, originally scheduled as a professional day for teachers, was designated in the school calendar as a potential make-up day. Schools will now be open for students on February 14.

MAKE-UP DAYS 2 - 4: June 16-18 – These three make-up days are built into the 2024-25 school calendar at the end of the school year..

MAKE-UP DAY 5: March 17 (if needed) – If a fifth inclement weather make-up day is needed, March 17 wil be converted to an instructional day.

If inclement weather closings exceed five days, additional school days may need to be scheduled at the end of the school year. We will provide updates as needed.
