She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling with a concentration in Traumatology from Liberty University.
Robin has extensive experience and dedication to the Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS). She brings a fresh parental perspective to the Board of Education in District 5, drawing from her active involvement as a PTA member and substitute teacher within MCPS. Her two children, both honor students, attend Bowie High School and Charles H. Flowers High School, having previously attended elementary and middle schools in the county.
Deeply involved in her community, Robin actively participates in the PTSO, Booster Club, and serves as a Lay member at her church. She mentors students through the “College Bound” organization, which prepares public and charter school students in the metropolitan D.C. area to enter college and achieve their personal and professional goals. As the daughter of Haitian immigrants, she played a pivotal role in encouraging the Ambassador of Haiti to promote the nationwide Census, significantly increasing participation within the Haitian community.
In her professional career as a Public Servant, Robin serves as the Program and Policy Analyst for the Federal Government, where she manages, oversees, and coordinates policy and program initiatives. Previously, she was the Congressional Lead for the State of Maryland at the United States Census Bureau, where she formed strong partnerships within the Congressional Delegation and over 500 influential stakeholders. Her efforts earned her a Secretary Recognition and Appreciation Citation from the Maryland Department of Planning for her tireless work during the 2020 Census.
Robin has also been involved in policy development, having led and authored a detailed policy for the Flint Water Crisis at the Skinner Leadership Institute, which she presented to Representatives of Congress. She served as the lead volunteer for the “Ben Jealous for Governor” Campaign and, as the former Assistant Director of Lay, hosted events for the Social Action Committee at Reid Temple AME Church.
