In accordance with the Local 2250 Negotiated Agreement and through the collaborative efforts of the Board of Education and Local 2250 Union, the Department of Human Resources Operations and Staffing is providing an opportunity for all eligible Unit I employees to apply for a voluntary transfer for the 2025-2026 school year. Attached is the SY 2025-2026 Voluntary Transfer application process for eligible school-based Local 2250 employees. The Voluntary Transfer function is part of iRecruitment in ORACLE that allows eligible school-based Local 2250 employees to request a voluntary transfer request, defined as a request for a change in school location within the same school-based support job classification and grade within Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) to another PGCPS school or location with an authorized vacancy.
Local 2250 employees may access the online application using their current login credentials from any PGCPS network computer from 12:01 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025, through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025. Without exceptions, the deadline for submitting a voluntary transfer application is March 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. “Frequently Asked Questions", instructions for completing the online transfer application, and other resource documents are attached.
