All PGCPS employees receive Windows logons and E-mail accounts automatically once they are entered into the system by Human Resources.
All students receive Windows logons automatically once they are entered into the Student Information System.
Once an employee resigns or retires, any access to our network including E-mail system is automatically terminated. The employee will not be able to access any information contained in their mailbox.
Non-PGCPS Employees are persons paid through a grant or by another Maryland institution. If the Non-PGCPS Employee will need access to the PGCPS computer or E-mail system the Non-PGCPS Employee Request Form must be completed and submitted by a PGCPS employee. The person completing this form MUST be a PGCPS employee with a title of Supervisor or higher and should be the person responsible for the applicant's usage of the PGCPS computer system.
Contractors are individuals hired from other companies that have been contracted by PGCPS IT Department. If the Contractor will need access to the PGCPS computer or E-mail system the Windows & Remote Access Request Form for Contractors form must be submitted by a PGCPS employee. The person completing this form MUST be a PGCPS Supervisor responsible for hiring the Contractor.
