At such times that Prince George’s County Public School students are able to be scheduled at the Howard B. Owens Science Center, they will continue to have priority scheduling.
The Center shall be made available to private and parochial school students in Prince George’s County on a first come first served basis, at such times during the school day that, because of the school calendar, Prince George’s County Public School students are not permitted to use the Center and the Center is otherwise available for group visits. These visits will be at no fiscal operating cost to the Prince George’s County Public Schools’ Operating Budget.
The Superintendent is requested to develop an Administrative Procedure for the use of the Howard B. Owens Science Center by outside groups of students.
