Board Policy 4139.1 - In-Service Training for New Programs and New Material

The Board of Education recognizes that the success of any curriculum depends on the preparation and competence of the teacher concerned, and that new programs and materials will require adequate teacher preparation.

The Superintendent will provide for regular in-service workshops or other training for teachers as may be appropriate to ensure adequate teacher preparation in implementation of new programs or use of new materials.
