The Board of Education has negotiated agreements with employee organizations pursuant to the appropriate provisions of the Education Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland. Employees who are not members of a unit covered by a negotiated agreement must therefore be separately provided for. The following represents the policy of the Board in these circumstances:
Executive Salary Schedule Personnel have fringe benefits, including but not limited to, annual leave, sick leave, and insurance. Their fringe benefits must be granted by affirmative action of the Board.
Board of Education Office Staff have fringe benefits, including but not limited to, annual leave, sick leave, and insurance. Their fringe benefits must be granted by affirmative action of the Board.
Confidential Employees have fringe benefits, including but not limited to, annual leave, sick leave, and insurance. They have the same benefits as for professional or classified personnel of equal service and responsibility as contained in negotiated agreements with relevant employee organizations.
