2023 Legislative Day

Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) introduced its 2024 Legislative Platform on December 15, 2023, creating a formal avenue for engaging with elected officials on legislation that directly impacts the school system.

The platform was unveiled during the inaugural Legislative Day event, which was attended by state and county elected officials, district leadership, Board of Education members, and student leaders. It outlines the measures the school system supports and opposes based on their potential impact on PGCPS students, staff, and families.
