The Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) System is steadfast about continuously promoting science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in new and innovative ways with our students. The Kids for Science Virtual STEM Fair for grades 3, 4 and 5 is one of the ways that PGCPS displays our students’ engagement in STEM.

The 32nd Annual Kids for Science (KFS) STEM Fair for grades 3, 4 and 5 is one of the ways that our school system displays students’ engagement in STEM. The 31st Annual Kids for Science Virtual STEM Fair Awards Ceremony was held Saturday, May 21, 2022 on Zoom from 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
We had 109 students from across the school systems from grades 3 through 5 that participated in our second virtual STEM fair. Students submitted digital projects using Google Slides in the following 13 categories listed below.
Student winners were announced during the virtual awards ceremony that was held Saturday, May 15, 2021 on Zoom from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.

The Science Department of Prince George’s County Public Schools hosted our 28th Kids For Science STEM Fair (KFS) on May 18-19, 2018 at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland. Student projects from grades 3-5 were showcased and judged.
