The annual Prince George's Area Science Fair (PGASF) is held in the spring each year. Hundreds of students in grades 6 through 12 participate from three counties: Calvert, Saint Mary’s, and Prince George’s, including several Prince George’s County charter and private schools.

Several organizations present special prizes and awards to our top winners in various categories. Scholarships are also awarded for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and Prince George's Community College.

The high school grand award winners will have the opportunity to advance to the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. These finalists have the opportunity to compete for scholarships and prizes valued at over one million dollars.
