About

Mrs. Sabrina Crusoe

Assistant Principal

Ernest Everett Just Middle

Mitchellville, MD 20721

Mrs. Crusoe is a transformative educational leader with almost 20 years of educational experience in Prince George’s County Public Schools.  She prides herself on building strong relationships with students, staff, and community stakeholders.

She has faithfully served Prince George's County Public Schools' staff, students, and families since 2005, when she began her career as a middle school mathematics teacher.  She has served in multiple capacities during her tenure, including Professional Development Lead Teacher, Mathematics Department Chair, Mentor Teacher, Afterschool Site Coordinator, Instructional Lead Teacher and School Testing Coordinator.  These roles have provided Mrs. Crusoe with vast experience in providing exceptional customer service to the various stakeholders within the district.

Mrs. Crusoe earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics from Virginia Commonwealth University.  After yielding to the desire to remove the negative stigma surrounding learning mathematics, she earned her Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, with a concentration in Mathematics, from Concordia University-Portland and completed a Principal Preparation Program at Lamar University.

Her most significant professional passion is to positively impact student achievement by building the professional capacities of educators, increasing student self-efficacy, and garnering parental and community support.  Mrs. Crusoe’s leadership profile is guided by her core values of providing correction, direction, and support with high levels of grace and truth.  She is diligent in preserving her mission to cultivate environments of empowerment and opportunity.

Mrs. Crusoe is the mother of 2 children and enjoys creating lasting memories with my family and loved ones.  Her long-standing motto is to “Chase progress, not perfection.”  As such, Mrs. Crusoe stands firm in being a lifelong learner and spends much of her free time continuing to develop her personal hobbies, reading for pleasure, or tending to her growing houseplant collection.
