I'm Already Signed Up for SmartBenefits

If you’re already signed up for SmartBenefits, make sure to claim your 7-day Regional Bus Pass each week following the steps below. Your bus pass is not limited to getting to and from High Point – you can ride on Metrobus FREE, 24/7! 

How to claim your 7-day Regional Bus Pass EACH week

  • Log into your SmarTrip account If this is your very first time: You can claim a pass as early as Feb. 1 and start using the pass the day after your claim (as early as Feb. 2)
  • Click your SmarTrip card number to go to the Card Summary page and scroll down to confirm your SmartBenefits balance.
  • Click the Add Pass button and scroll down to the 7-Day Regional Bus Pass.
  • Click Add.
  • Click View Shopping Cart.
  • Click Checkout to review your order.
  • Click Submit Order. Your SmartBenefits will automatically be applied to your order.
  • Repeat the process above each week at least one day before your current pass expires.
