Additional Updates:

There will be no work-study transportation. (Those students should not report to school.)
There will be no half-day Early Childhood Center (ECC), half-day Special Education Programs, or half-day PreK.
Vendor Managed Child Care Programs (VMCCP) will open 2 hours late.
Any other school program requiring transportation prior to 12 noon will NOT have transportation, including Howard B. Owens Science Center,JA Finance Park, and William S. Schmidt Center (Camp Schmidt)
All field trips will be cancelled.
Food Services will offer breakfast.

PGCPS will reassess conditions at 5am to announce any additional schedule changes if necessary.

Pre-Kindergarten Accreditation

Magnolia Elementary School is participating in a voluntary accreditation process with the Maryland State Department of Education. The purpose is to improve the quality of instruction in our Early Childhood/Pre-Kindergarten classroom. This informative process will allow us to examine our practices, policies and procedures to ensure quality instruction for all students. The key areas include Program Administration, Program Operation and Home/Community Partnerships.
