Welcome Back To TGES Parent Meeting

Wednesday, August 21 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm via Zoom

TGES Parents/Guardians (Grades 1 - 5) are encouraged to attend the Back To TGES Parent Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to share important school information to ensure everyone is aware of school-wide policies and procedures.

Kindergarten parents may attend. You will have a chance to meet with members of Team TGES during Kindergarten Orientation on 8/25.

Popsicles @ the Playground Meet & Greet

Thursday, August 22 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Come out to TGES Playgrounds and meet old and new friends! This is an opportunity for the community to come together before the start of school for popsicles, fellowship, and fun. There will be a meet-and-greet bingo activity!!! Tigers may also bring board games and cards to play with their fellow Tigers.

Kindergarten Orientation

Friday, August 23 @ 8:40 am - 10:00 am

Kindergarten students will have an opportunity to meet with teachers. Parents will attend a meeting with members of Team TGES to learn more about being a member of the TGES Community. After orientation, families will participate in a scavenger hunt to get acquainted with the learning facility and meet special teachers.

Schedule:

8:40: Parents take children to the classroom for teacher greeting

8:50 - 9:30: Parent Meeting w/Members of Team TGES (students do activities with teachers)

9:30 - 10:00: Get To Know TGES Scavenger Hunt.

Sneak-A-Peek

Friday, August 23

(Last Names M - Z) 11:15 am - 12:15 pm

Join Us on August 23 for our Annual Sneak-A-Peek @ Your Seat. This is an opportunity for students and parents to say hello to TEAM TGES teachers, drop off school supplies, connect with friends old and new, and have fun taking selfies as you complete The Get To Know TGES Scavenger Hunt!

Back To School Night

September 5 @ 5:00 pm - 7:35 pm

Parents are invited to go directly to classes to hear presentations from teachers/Specialists. Teachers will present in classrooms and Specialists will present in the GYM. There will be 3 rotations. Teachers/Specialists will provide the same presentation during each rotation. Come at a time convenient for your family.

• Rotation 1: 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm
• Rotation 2: 5:55 pm - 6:40 pm
• Rotation 3: 6:50 pm - 7:35 pm

The night will end promptly at 7:35 pm so teachers can get home safe and prepare for the next instructional day.
