National Native American Heritage Month is celebrated in November to honor the history, culture, and achievements of Native Americans and Alaskan Natives. When? November is the month set aside to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. Why? The month recognizes the contributions of the original inhabitants of the United States and their descendants. It is also a time to reflect on the treatment of Indigenous people in American history.

Family Literacy Night Dear Parents and Guardians, In celebration of American Education Week, we invite you to join us for our Annual Family Literacy Night on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. This event will feature both reading and math activities, including read-alouds, math games, and raffles. Bring your favorite teddy bear and blanket, and enjoy a fun-filled evening of literacy with your family! Please note, this is not a drop-in session for children alone. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The expectation is that families will enjoy this evening together and learn how to make literacy fun and engaging.
