Meal Information

Allergies & Dietary Needs

Does your child have allergies or special dietary needs? Please notify our school nurse charetta.moss@pgcps.org with this important information so we can be prepared.

Technology

We are now a one-to-one Chromebook School and County. Chromebooks are available for every student. Please keep in mind that it is the student’s and parent’s financial and ownership responsibility to keep the Chromebook clean, handled properly and safely. When repairs are needed due to neglect, parents will have a $35-200 fee depending on the needed repairs or lost items such as chargers or the device. Please send emails to fred.laureles@pgcps.org to arrange an appointment if your Chromebook is not working, you were never issued one (except new Kindergartners), or the charger has been misplaced or is not working.

Health Information

Sick Students

PGCPS will continue to follow recommendations by the Prince George's County Health Department regarding mask mandates. Visit the COVID Resources page for the most current information.

Any student who attends school and presents with a Covid-19 symptom will be sent home for monitoring and may return when they are symptom free or provide a negative Covid test result.

Immunizations

All students have required immunizations to ensure they are fully registered. Nurse Moss will be in contact with anyone who has not met the requirements. For the health and safety of all, please ensure your PGCPS student is current on all vaccines required by the state before attending school.

Make an appointment at a free immunization clinic at a PGCPS Wellness Center.

Drinking Water Access

Due to our protective measures with Covid-19, water fountains remain closed. Students are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle from home to support our Green School initiative. Bottled water will be available for those who need it.

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Join our PTA to participate in important events throughout the school year.
