Dear J. Frank Dent Families:

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! It is time to get those supplies and uniforms ready! I hope you thoroughly enjoyed the summer break. Be ready for us because we are ready for you. This year, everyone at J. Frank Dent will "Roar" with Tiger P.R.I.D.E. We will strive to provide our students with a healthy and safe environment to learn and excel. We know that we have a lot of work to do to prepare our students for their bright futures and we are excited to partner with each of you to ensure all of our students have equitable opportunities to achieve.

J. Frank Dent will host an Open House for all Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and students new to J. Frank Dent on Friday, August 25th from 9:30-10:30 am. During this time parents will have a brief introduction to J. Frank Dent E.S., its routines, curricular programs, and academic practices. Additionally, mark your calendars for the Back-to-School Night scheduled for Thursday, September 14th from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

We are looking forward to a successful opening and school year. Please be on the lookout for a DoJo message from your students' classroom teacher and information on how you as a parentcan join the "Tiger Pack" and support making decisions for J. Frank Dent Elementary School.
