ESSA and Title I Department will be recognized for providing supplemental resources to diverse schools that contribute to preparing students for college and career readiness.
Barnaby Manor Elementary School is located in Oxon Hill, MD. The school hours for Barnaby Manor Elementary School are 7:30 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. for the students. The school is considered to be a neighborhood school, drawing its students predominantly from a large apartment complex, nearby single-family homes, and a townhome complex. Barnaby Manor has been classified as Title I Schoolwide since the 2015-2016 school year. Barnaby Manor has an enrollment of over 450 students which includes Pre-Kindergarten, Special Education, English Language Development (ELD), and FARM Students. The schools average daily attendance meets or exceeds the 94% percentile set forth by the county.
The staff of Barnaby Manor Elementary School believes in the capacity of all students to develop the essential skills and a fundamental background of information, which will enable and inspire them to achieve excellence in our society. Our mission is to provide an individually appropriate educational experience that empowers each and every student to reach their fullest potential.
Further, we accept responsibility to provide opportunities for each child’s total development with regard to physical, emotional, social, ethical and intellectual growth.
