Community Letters

August 9, 2024

Greetings Barnaby Manor Elementary School Family,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! It is with great excitement and anticipation that I greet you as we embark on another wonderful year of learning and growth. As we continue our journey together, I am honored to serve as your principal for the third year, committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive educational environment for all our students.

Our school motto, "Climbing to Higher Heights," aligns to our dedication to guiding our students through the vast terrain of learning, encouraging curiosity, exploration, and academic excellence. Our mighty bear mascot will continue to inspire us to dive deep into our studies, embrace challenges, and celebrate our successes as a united school community.

Over the summer, our dedicated staff has been hard at work preparing for the new school year. We have an enhanced curriculum, and a variety of activities planned to enrich the educational experience of every mighty bear scholar. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Communication between home and school is vital to our success. I encourage you to stay connected with us through our school website, Synergy (our new registration and grading platform), and ClassDojo. This year we will continue to improve our attendance with your support. We value your input and partnership in your child's education and welcome your involvement in school activities, events, as this will support our students' overall well being.

I would like to welcome our new students and say hello to our returning students and families. As we embark upon this new school year, let us work together to support our students in climbing mountains of knowledge, fostering a love for learning, and achieving academic excellence. I look forward to seeing the bright smiles of our students and working alongside our dedicated teachers, staff, and parents to make this school year the best one yet. Please read the entire letter carefully. It contains important information to ensure the first days and weeks of school get off to a great start.
