Hello Lamont Scholars and Families,

Welcome to Lamont Elementary! I am Sharon McNeil, the principal of Lamont Elementary School. I am a 27 year educator, having served as a classroom teacher, an Assistant Principal and now Principal, during my tenure. Nearly 20 years of my experience has been in Prince George’s County Public Schools. 

We are thrilled to have you as part of our school community. At Lamont, we firmly believe in the potential of each and every student, and we are committed to fostering a nurturing and enriching environment where our Lamont scholars can thrive.

Our exceptional staff is dedicated to providing the highest quality education and support. They are passionate about guiding and inspiring our students, ensuring that each child receives a rich and engaging instructional program tailored to their needs.
