Welcome to Perrywood Elementary School
I am hopeful this message finds you well and enjoying the last days of a wonderful summer break. My name is Dr. Sharon A. Hill, and I am the New Proud Principal of Perrywood Elementary. I have over 30 years of experience in education and more than 10 years as a school administrator. I am excited to bring my background knowledge and passion for supporting student learning to the community.
The mission of Perrywood Elementary aligns with the mission of Prince George’s Public Schools, “to provide a great education that empowers all students and contributes to thriving communities.” At Perrywood we believe all students can meet or exceed rigorous academic standards. All students will be critical thinkers who seek knowledge and possess technical competence and collaborative skills in order to be college and career ready.
My goal is to work collaboratively with you and to support the educators who provide quality instruction to your scholar to ensure that we, together, are producing outstanding scholars with outstanding character.
