Arrival & Dismissal

Arrival

  • Cars should form two lanes for drop-off in the morning.
  • The right lane (closest to the yellow curb) is for vehicles with multiple children (3 or more).
  • The left lane is for vehicles dropping off 1-2 children.
  • Please be sure to follow the instructions of the staff members on duty.
  • Please remember that the speed limit should not exceed 15 mph in the car loop.
  • Students will line up in the front of the building by grade level.
  • Students can enter the building at 7:20 a.m.
  • Students should not be dropped off before 7:15 a.m. as staff members are not available to supervise students before that time.
  • School starts at 7:30 a.m.
  • Students can eat breakfast from 7:30 - 7:45 a.m.
  • Students are considered late at 7:40 a.m.

Student Dismissal Order

  • Students will be dismissed at 1:40 p.m.
  • First, safety patrols will be dismissed.
  • Second, van riders will be dismissed. 
  • Van riders will be picked up in the visitor parking area.
  • Third, walkers will be dismissed with their siblings/relatives and walking partners.
  • All walkers must walk out the side door and down the sidewalk on the left side leaving from the school.
  • Lastly, we will dismiss car riders.
  • Teachers will escort their car riders out of the building. 
  • There will be signs for each grade level.

Dismissal

  • Cars should form two lanes for pick up in the afternoon.
  • The right lane (closest to the yellow curb) is for vehicles with multiple children (3 or more).
  • The left lane is for vehicles picking up 1-2 children.
  • Please be sure to follow the instructions of the staff members on duty.
  • It would be helpful if parents would write their child’s name, grade and teacher in marker on a piece of paper and place it on the dashboard or on the window for the first week of school.
  • We will send hang tags home the second week of school.
  • Please remember that the speed limit should not exceed 15 mph in the car loop.
  • We ask that you are patient the first week of school for dismissal

Early Dismissal

  • If you would like to pick your child up for an early dismissal, your child must be picked up before 1:20 p.m. 
  • Be sure to bring your photo ID.
