Achievements and Celebrations 2022-2023

Congratulations to our awesome amazing Geometry students who recently participated in the International COMAP Math competition and placed 6th worldwide in Geometry!!! The results have been posted, and we are proud to announce that we are ranked 6th worldwide and were only 1 of 9 schools from the USA to rank. Princeton University was the only other school in the USA to rank higher than Tasker (ranked 3rd in their category)… but they were not in our category. Although Tasker ranked the highest of all schools in the USA, Eight other schools in the USA did rank. Congratulations to our Tasker Geometry students for ranking 6th in the entire world!!!!!! Just a little reminder… Tasker has ranked 1st nationally for two consecutive years, and our Algebra 1 students currently rank 1st nationally. Tasker math is awesome and our students are amazing!!!! 

Congratulations to the 2022-23 BTMS Spelling Bee Champion, Caroline Meji, 7th grade and our Runner-up, Gerlynn Meyanwi, 8th grade. Ms. Mejia will represent Benjamin Tasker at the county Spelling Bee on March 17th at the Clarice B. Smith Performing Arts Center. In the event Ms. Mejia cannot compete, Ms. Meyanwi will represent our school. BTMS had over 125 students competing for this accomplishment.
