Meet Our Principal

Greetings Family!
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how delighted I am to serve as the new Principal of H. Winship Wheatley!

Let me begin by telling you a little about who I am. I come to you with 22 years of experience in PGCPS, having had the pleasure of beginning my administrative career as the former Assistant Principal of Wheatley, working proudly alongside Ms. Orgettas! During my tenure in PGCPS, I’ve served in roles that include Special Educator, General Education Teacher, Reading Specialist, and Principal. I hold a Bachelor of Science in both Early Childhood and Special Education, a Masters of Education in Reading,
and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Most importantly, I want you to know that I am passionate about education and am committed to upholding a tradition of excellence at H. Winship Wheatley!

As we look toward the coming school year, I am eager to begin collaboratively working with you to continue to lay a firm foundation along the continuum of your child’s educational career. Through quality teaching and individualized support, we can achieve Wheatley’s vision to prepare your child for kindergarten and beyond.
