Description

The Pre-kindergarten Program in Prince George's County fosters the development of literacy, oral language, and self respect as well as selected skills necessary for a successful beginning school experience. Using a theme approach, with a variety of drama, music, art, literature, and manipulative activities children will grow socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.

Families may apply if the student...

is four years old by September 1 of the school year in which they are requesting entrance
is homeless or resides within the identified school boundaries
meets income guidelines established by the Maryland State Department of Education
