PGCPS is celebrating significant gains in student achievement, with the Class of 2024 graduation rate rising to 80.02% – a 5.6 percentage point increase! Hispanic graduates and English Learners led the way, with nearly 12% and 15% gains, respectively.
These milestones reflect the hard work of students, families and educators across the district. Supporting this success are 97 newly certified National Board Certified Teachers, bringing the total to 635 — making PGCPS one of the top 20 school districts nationwide for these highly accomplished educators!
