Registration Information

  • To find your neighborhood school please visit the PGCPS School Finder 
  • Online registration is available for all parents through ParentVUE! A ParentVUE account is needed to register a new or returning student in PGCPS and for transfers within the county. 
    • Note: Do not attempt to create your ParentVUE account from a mobile phone browser; this will cause errors. 
  • The ParentVUE app will be available for download by August 12.
  • If you do not have access to the internet or an electronic device, please call the school at 301-805-2750 to make an appointment which will take approximately 1 hour.

Registration Requirements

Only a parent or court-appointed guardian can register a student. The following documents are required to register a child. You must have ALL documents inorder to complete the registration packet.

  • Withdrawal packet from previous school
  • Original birth certificate
  • Current shot/immunizations record
  • Last report card
  • Proof of residence: lease, deed, signed settlement papers, property tax bill or current mortgage statement
  • Parent ID

(We also require 2 pieces of current mail with the parent's name and address on it.) If your name is not on the lease or the deed, you must do a notarized shared housing form.
