9th Grade Administrator
Dr. Colby R. White is a native of Maryland and a product of Prince George’s County Public Schools. Dr. White is a three time alumna of Bowie State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He also holds a Master’s of Science degree in Management Information Systems and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership.
Dr. White has served in Prince George’s County Public Schools for the past twenty plus years. His administrative/educational service has included the following positions as assistant principal, master scheduler, advancement via individual determination (AVID) teacher/coordinator, alternative testing coordinator, summer school coordinator, interdisciplinary team leader, systemic summer school assistant regional administrator and a mathematics teacher.
Dr. White has been married for 22 years and has three beautiful teenage daughters ages 16, 19, and 20. Colby has grown up in FBCG and has always been an active member. From Boy Scouts and BID, to the Usher Board, the Audio Visual Ministry to the Couple’s Ministry, ministry is an important part of who he is.
Dr. White is an eagle scout, who has never stopped trying to do a good deed daily.
