Get Involved

District Heights Elementary School encourages the participation of our parents in school decision-making and volunteering in our many activities. It is the partnership of home, school, and the community that has been the formula for our school success.  We hope that parents will volunteer to be a part of the following activities or committees:  

  1. PTO (Parent Teacher Organization)
  2. Parent Involvement Committee
  3. School-Planning Management Team
  4. Classroom or School Volunteer
  5. Parent Workshops
  6. Chaperone for field trips

ParentVUE is Coming Soon

PGCPS will be transitioning away from our current student information system this summer and implementing Synergy, on July 22, 2024. Student enrollment and registration for School Year 2024-2025 has been paused during the final stage of implementation and will resume on July 22nd.  For more information on student registration and enrollment once the Synergy student information system reopens on July 22nd, please visit www.pgcps.org/registration.  

ParentVUE Timeline

July 22, 2024 - Parents can create ParentVUE account and register students

August 19, 2024 - ParentVue available to parents (full scheduling)
